nThis connecting rod was used during the 2016 MotoGP world championship and was mounted on the engine used by Andrea Iannone, who finished 3rd at Italy Grand Prix. Made on Ducati Corse specifications by Pankl, a racing mechanical component specialist, this connecting rod is made of a titanium alloy, giving it outstanding physical properties of strength and lightness. The connecting rod is subjected to tensile loads of up to 2,500 kgf and compression loads of over 4,000 kgf. Each connecting rod weighs 202 g and plays a key role in obtaining high levels of engine performance.
